Materials needed:

  • Tempera paint, red, blue and yellow.
  • Plaster of Paris.
  • Mold forms (in this case of stars).
  • Plastic cups or glass.
  • Plastic spoons.
  • Gloves.
  • Toothpicks.

You have to pour the tempera paint in a plastic cup or glass, adding 1/4 paint and 3/4 water. Stir with spoon to mix well and add a small cup of plaster of Paris. We remove again and add the mixture to the mold of stars.

We allow the mixture to set for 24 hours and expect another 24 before you can use them as chalk, thus ensuring that we can use without breaking.

To make white chalks, repeat the same step but unpainted plaster and water only. To achieve a color effect to ombré or gradient, you can add another color to the mold when drying takes one hour the first color.
